Octopus Energy Generation has made its first two investments in Germany’s solar market, as it ramps up green energy activity in the country to propel the clean energy transition.

Producer of green and renewable hydrogen in Europe, Lhyfe, is building a new 800 MW project in Lubmin, Germany, to supply the future European hydrogen backbone network.

Octopus Energy’s generation arm has made its first investment in Germany’s offshore wind sector as it rapidly scales its renewables activity in the country.
