Companies to Assess Large-Scale Floating Solar Project in Malaysia

Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company PJSC – Masdar , the UAE's clean energy powerhouse, has signed a Joint Study Agreement with Malaysia's Sarawak Energy and clean energy solutions provider, Gentari, to assess the feasibility of a floating solar power plant at the reservoir of Murum Hydroelectric Plant in the state of Sarawak, Malaysia.

AlphaReal secures first CfD contracts in portfolio of renewable infrastructure assets

Specialist assets investments manager AlphaReal has successfully secured several 5-year Contracts for Difference (CfD) contracts in Allocation Round 6 run by the UK Department for Energy Security covering two solar energy greenfield projects and one wind farm scheduled for delivery in 2026/27.

Enersense and EPV Aurinkovoima Oy have signed an agreement on the maintenance of the Heinineva solar power park, located in Lapua, Finland, which is one of the country’s largest solar farms with a capacity of approximately 86 MWp and will produce more than 80 GWh of energy per year.

EDF Renewables Secures Energy Storage PPA

EDF Renewables North America has secured a 20-year Energy Storage Power Purchase Agreement with Arizona Public Service (APS) for the Beehive Battery Energy Storage System. Located in the City of Peoria, Maricopa County, Arizona, the stand-alone battery energy storage system (BESS) will have capacity of 250 MW/4-hour duration.
