XGS Energy Secures Additional $13M to Accelerate Advanced Geothermal Deployment

XGS Energy has closed $13 million in new financing. The over-subscribed round included new investors Aligned Climate Capital, ClearSky, ClimateIC, and WovenEarth Ventures, in addition to inside investors. This financing builds on a round led by Constellation Technology Ventures, VoLo Earth Ventures, and Valo Ventures in 2024.

Aston University awarded £35.5 million grant to accelerate transformation to Net Zero campus by 2028

Aston University has been awarded a £35.5 million grant from the UK Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme to support its transformation into an innovative, Net Zero carbon campus. The funding, provided by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero and delivered by Salix, will enable the construction of a state-of-the-art Green Energy Centre in a newly-acquired facility on Woodcock Street.
